2017 County Council Results

2017 Waltham Cross Borough By-Election - Thursday 9th March 

Our Candidate for the Waltham Cross by-election is Patsy Spears. Patsy is a longstanding resident of Waltham Cross and an active participant in it's community life. As Chairman of the Ethnic Minority Association she already plays a huge part in the life of our area for which she has been recognised with an award. She is Vice Chairman of her local Residents Association so is used to acting as an advocate on behalf of others and during her career as a midwife and community nurse has seen many of the issues that can affect people at all stages of life and how they impact. She is also on the governing body of a local primary school and also acts as a governor for Herts Regional College. All this community engagement makes her an ideal person to represent her community and advocate for them on the Council. We are certainly doing everything we can to convince her fellow Waltham Cross residents that this is the case.

17:30 - Meet Park Lane adjacent to the Plough Pub to do GOTV leaflets.

Tuesday 7th Mar

17:30 - Meet Lodge Crescent to GOTV leaflet

Wednesday 8th Mar

17:30 - Meet Royal Avenue, at the Trinity Lane End, to GOTV leaflet. As this marks the end of the campaign we will go to the Vine afterwards to unwind slightly before polling day.

Thursday 9th Mar - Polling Day
