Asylum hotel

Yesterday evening Broxbourne Council became the first local authority to declare its intention to take legal action to close the asylum hotel in Cheshunt, following the ruling on Epping.

Today, the Leader of Broxbourne Council Corina Gander, Deputy Leader Steve Wortley, Cllr Ken Ayling and our Association Chairman Paul Mason have appeared on national media to outline our case and demand the Government takes action.

Alongside our MP Lewis Cocking, who is fighting every day for the closure of the hotel in Parliament, Broxbourne Conservatives will continue to take the serious steps required to stop the use of the hotel for asylum seekers and return it to our community.
