Local Conservatives secure closure of Cheshunt asylum hotel

Broxbourne Conservatives have been putting pressure on the Home Office to stop the use of the Marriott Hotel for asylum seekers.

After taking every possible step to secure the closure, Conservative led Broxbourne Council has been informed that the hotel will be closing in June. 

As local residents ourselves, we understood the level of public concern and the impact on local services. Closing the hotel was the number one priority for every Conservative elected in Broxbourne, and we have delivered.
