Lewis has been the Member of Parliament for Broxbourne since 2024.

Lewis has lived in Broxbourne his whole life, and attended Wormley Primary School and John Warner Secondary School. His first job was in Hoddesdon town centre.

Having been involved in local campaigns since 2011, Lewis was elected to Broxbourne Borough Council in 2016 and became leader 3 years later. During his leadership, Lewis championed local job creation, with Broxbourne becoming one of the most business-friendly councils in the UK. In 2021, Lewis was appointed Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire.

He was selected by Broxbourne Conservatives to be our new Parliamentary candidate in 2023, and was elected in July 2024.
